Mr Tsering Phuntsok is a fusion designer, mixing traditional Tibetan clothing lines with modern concepts. He runs his clothing line under the brand Pagoda Workshop. He has been managing this company, with the help of other Tibetan refugees, for the last six years.
Designing is his passion. He didn’t have any formal training on designing; has only BA degree from Delhi University, but learned some techniques from some European designers when he worked for for them many years ago in Kathmandu.
He has done a few fashion shows in Kathmandu, Nepal, over the years. Some of the shows were for charity to raise funds to build a new monastery in Kathmandu.
